LIFE SCIENCES
The space between site visits is where your trial happens
AMC Health puts FDA-cleared connected devices and registered nurses in participants’ homes for decentralized and hybrid studies, so study teams see vitals, adherence, and safety signals every day of the trial, not only on visit days.
Your operating partner for decentralized and hybrid trials
Site visits are snapshots taken weeks apart. AMC fills the gap with daily readings from the home, reviewed by nurses who escalate the moment a value crosses a protocol-defined threshold.
Fit-for-Purpose Devices
FDA-cleared devices ship to the door and report via app, tablet, modem, or phone line, so anyone can take part. We field the setup and Wi-Fi calls, not your sites.
Nurses in All 50 States
Nurses in all 50 states make in-home visits as trial personnel, handle device setup and protocol check-ins, and keep participants enrolled through the final visit.
Data Built for Review
Every reading is time-stamped source data, captured to ALCOA+ and held in [Part 11-compliant] systems with a full audit trail, ready for analysis and regulatory review.
Three ways to partner
We work behind CROs, within DCT platforms, and directly with sponsors, taking on the role each one needs in the operation. Sponsor oversight documentation is available on request.
CROs
- You bring
- The study and the sponsor relationship
- We provide
- Device logistics, nurse visits, and monitoring for active studies
- How we fit
- Specialist partner working under your QMS and SOPs
DCT Platforms
- You bring
- The platform and the sponsor relationship
- We provide
- Device provisioning, participant setup, and nurse visits
- How we fit
- White-labeled, one module or the full operation
Sponsors
- You bring
- The therapy and the protocol
- We provide
- Devices, nurses, and data infrastructure for Phase 1–4 hybrid studies
- How we fit
- Direct, with retention and data integrity reported to protocol

Enrollment beyond the site, retention through the last visit
Many eligible patients live hours from a site, prefer a phone call to an app, or have never been asked to join a study. We handle onboarding and in-home device setup, connecting each participant via a smartphone app, cellular tablet, or standard phone line. That opens enrollment to rural, older, and low-connectivity populations that site-based designs miss.
Evidence for the whole lifecycle
The same home-monitoring data that supports an interventional study carries into Phase 4 commitments, post-market clinical follow-up, registries, and the real-world evidence work medical affairs and market access teams take on after approval. Adherence barriers, long-term outcomes, and how a therapy performs on an ordinary Tuesday come from one continuous source instead of a new study.
Therapeutic areas where daily data changes the study
Continuous home monitoring matters most where the events that define an endpoint happen between visits: a missed dose, an exacerbation, a blood pressure that drifts.
Metabolic
Daily glucose, weight, and blood pressure from the home, with adherence tracked over the full course of a diabetes or GLP-1 study.
Cardiovascular
Daily blood pressure, heart rate, and weight, so heart failure and hypertension studies measure control across every day of the trial.
Respiratory
Lung function, inhaler use, and symptoms recorded at home, for COPD and asthma studies where the exacerbations that matter happen.
CLUSTER-RANDOMIZED TRIAL
Blood pressure controlled from home, results that held, in a randomized trial
AMC Health home monitors supplied the daily blood pressure readings the trial’s pharmacists managed medication from, across 450 patients at 16 clinics. Within six months most patients had their blood pressure under control, compared with fewer than half in usual care, and the gap was still there six months after the program ended.
